Jmgo recently launched the N1S Standard Edition projector in the Chinese market, following the release of its Air, Pro, and Ultra versions last year. Priced at 4989 yuan (US$ 690), the N1S is now available for purchase on JD.com. The N1S utilizes the MALC MOKAI 2.0 tri-color laser engine and supports 4K resolution. This engine delivers a brightness of 1200 CVIA lumens and a static contrast ratio of 1600:1, supporting 10-bit color and covering 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut.
The design of the N1S includes an
integrated cloud platform, offering a 127° adjustable projection angle. This
design is user-friendly, allowing for easy adjustment with one hand in any
direction, and supports body dynamic tracking for quick calibration and
focusing. In terms of technical specifications, the N1S is equipped with a
0.47″ DMD optical chip and powered by the MT9667 SoC. It comes with 3GB of RAM
and 32GB of storage space. Additionally, it includes an HDMI 2.1 interface,
enhancing its connectivity options.
The projector’s tri-color laser technology
not only enhances color accuracy and contrast but also provides a superior
viewing experience compared to traditional LED light sources. This technology
is said to deliver a higher-quality picture, especially in terms of color
fidelity and detailed rendering in both bright and dark areas. The projector
claims to bring a film-level color display with minimal stray light, and it
also offers customizable color settings to cater to personal preferences.
For audio, the N1S is outfitted with dual
Master Sound speakers that include large sound chambers, extending bass down to
55Hz. The system supports Dolby HiFi sound quality, ensuring immersive audio to
accompany the visual experience.
From a usability standpoint, the projector
offers features like real-time smooth adjustment through its integrated cloud
platform and has built-in calibration algorithms for fast and effective setup.
The device is also designed to be compact and portable, allowing users to
easily move their viewing setup from one room to another. It runs on Bonfire OS
7.0 and is optimized for low-latency gaming. Additionally, the projector incorporates
eye protection features with zero harmful blue light emission.
