FUJIFILM officially unveils the new X-T50 mirrorless camera with a new Film Simulation dial alongside with new FUJINON XF16-50 R LM WR! Weighing at just 438 grams, the new X-T50 is the latest compact and lightweight alternative to its bigger brother the X-T5.

It comes with the X-H2 and X-T5's 40.2MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor with 7-stop in-body image stabilization and X-Processor 5 Image processor. This yields a native ISO of 125-12,800 (64-51,200 extended), a maximum of 13 fps continuous shooting and video recording of up to 4K at 60p it 6.2K at 30p 4:2:2 10-bit internally. These files are saved to a single SD/SDHC/SDXC UHS-II SD card slot.

The body carries 1 micro-HDMI port, 1 3.5mm TRS stereo microphone in port, USB-C 3.2/3.1 Gen 2, Bluetooth and WiFi.  At the back is the 0.39-inch 2.36 Million-dot optical-electronic viewfinder and below it is the 3-inch 1.84 million-dot tilting touch screen LCD. It uses the NP-W126S rechargeable lithium-ion battery and is available in Black, Charcoal Silver or Silver colorways.

The camera measures 12.38 x 8.4 x 4.88 cm and weighs 438 grams with the battery.

Alongside the new APS-C camera is the new XF 16-50mm f/2.8-4.8 R LM WR lens. It offers a 24-75mm full frame equivalent focal length and a 58mm filter thread. Inside is the 11 elements in 9 groups with 9 rounded aperture blades. It replaces the XF 18-55 f/2.8-4.0 OIS kit lens.
