Z-Pocket Game (ZPG) recently turned up on AliExpress with a price tag of US$ 217, revealing its complete design and specifications. The brand has now shared an update about the A1 Unicorn gaming handheld.
It turns out the device seen on AliExpress
was listed by someone not associated with ZPG. The company announced the A1
Unicorn in November 2023 but hadn’t given out much info since then. ZPG now
says to keep an eye on their official site for the real deal on when and where
the A1 Unicorn will be up for grabs. They haven’t given a specific date yet but
mentioned it should be on AliExpress by the end of the month, possibly at a
better price than what’s been floating around.
The A1 Unicorn gaming handheld, found
listed for US$ 217 by a third party, is quite the gadget. It’s got a MediaTek
Helio G99 chip, 6GB RAM, and a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It also
comes with a 4-inch square screen with a 720 x 720 pixels resolution. ZPG is
also hinting at another device called the Game Bubble, though they haven’t
shared much about it yet. The mention of it alongside the A1 Unicorn suggests
ZPG is working on expanding its lineup of gaming gear.
For anyone thinking about getting the A1
Unicorn, ZPG suggests waiting for the official launch to make sure you’re
getting the real thing. They’re planning to start shipping in mid-May 2024.
