Back in February, ViewSonic officially
unveiled the much-anticipated XG272-2K-OLED monitor on the global stage. The
company has now revealed its pricing in major markets like the US, UK, and
Eurozone. The ViewSonic XG272-2K-OLED has a list price of £ 959 on Amazon UK,
however, TFTCentral claims that it will be launching next month with a more
affordable MSRP of £ 799. That being said, shipments are expected to commence
around mid-June 2024. Eurozone customers will find the XG272-2K-OLED available
for € 1,159 via major retailers. As for the US, the monitor is available to
pre-order on Amazon for US$ 899.99.
As the name suggests, the ViewSonic
XG272-2K-OLED monitor comes with a 2K (2560 x 1440 pixels) panel that measures
26.5 inches diagonally. The monitor has 100% of the sRGB and 98.5% of the
DCI-P3 color space which makes it suitable for some creative workflows in
addition to its intended purpose of gaming.
The panel comes with a snappy 240Hz
refresh rate, along with a 0.02ms response time. To get rid of any screen
tearing and minimize stuttering during games, the monitor offers support for
both AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync. Additionally, it has 450 nits peak
brightness with HDR and 2 x 3W inbuilt speakers.
The I/O offers various connectors
including 1x 3.5 mm jack, 2x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1, 3x USB Type-A, 1x
USB Type-B, 1x USB Type-C.
