Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro arrive on March 21. In a series of posts, Xiaomi confirmed the phone's chipset was revealed to be Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the triple camera at the back will be enhanced by Leica. The Civi 4 Pro will arrive in four colors. The back panel of the Green, the hero color, will have a glass and a leather part stylishly separated from each other.
According to a teaser on Weibo, the new
Civi phone will be focusing on performance, photos, and design. The frame will
be flat and made of metal instead of plastic. The handset will weigh under 180
grams and be 7.45 mm thin in its base—that's without the protruding camera
island.
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro's arrival with such
a powerful chipset is a huge shift from the previous Civi devices, which used
lesser SoCs. Their best-selling feature was the dual front-facing cameras for
young selfie enthusiasts. We have to wait for the event on Thursday to learn how
much the Civi will sell for, which would also set a benchmark for what to
expect on future pricing for Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered devices.
