Xiaomi's current flagship photography-focused phone was launched globally at MWC 2024 in Barcelona, Spain. To recall, this phone features photography-centric capabilities thanks to its 50MP Sony LYT-900 1-inch sensor with OIS, f/1.63-4.0 variable aperture, and ADL ultra-low reflection coating. It is accompanied with 50MP ultra-wide shooter + 50MP f/1.8 telephoto, OIS with 3.2x zoom + 50MP f/2.5 periscope w/ 5x optical zoom For selfies, the device uses a 32MP front-facing camera.
Another highlight is the Dragon Armor
architecture it uses. Xiaomi noted that it has a high-strength aluminum alloy
frame and ceramic glass combo to achieve a durable build in terms of bending
and drop resistance.
The front of the phone features a 6.73-inch
micro curved OLED panel. The aforementioned technology has the look of a flat
screen but the tactile feel of a curved one, Xiaomi claims. The display also
features 2K 3200 x 1440 resolution, LTPO 1-120Hz VRR, 3000 nits brightness,
HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 1920Hz PWM dimming, DC dimming, and Xiaomi Ceramic Glass
protection. The device also features a 3.3GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 8-core chip
with new Adreno, 12GB/16GB LPDDR5x RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage, and a
5,300mAh battery with 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and 10W
reverse wireless charging. It also includes a Xiaomi Surge G1 battery
management chip to ensure a longer life.
Other features are an In-Display
fingerprint reader, Hi-Res audio, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, 4x
microphones, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. For connectivity, it
has 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual
satellite communication (special edition only). For OS, the phone runs Android
14 with HyperOS.
