Samsung is preparing to release its newest smartphone, the Galaxy M55 5G. Leaked details, including specifications and color choices, were disclosed by mspoweruser.com. The Galaxy M55 5G boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120 Hz Super AMOLED+ display with thin bezels and a peak refresh rate of 1,000 nits. It’s lightweight at around 180g and comes in light green and black color options.
In the camera department, it features a
triple setup on the rear: a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a
2MP macro lens, accompanied by an LED flash. On the front, there’s a 50MP
selfie camera housed in a centered punch hole. Under the hood, it runs on
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, a step up from its predecessor’s Exynos 1380. It
packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W Fast Charging 2.0.
Memory options range from 8GB to 12GB of
RAM, with storage variants of 128GB and 256GB, expandable up to 1TB via microSD
card. Security features include an under-display fingerprint sensor and Samsung
Knox Vault.
Additional features include Dolby Atmos,
Wi-Fi 6, dual-SIM connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC support. The phone will
launch with Android 14 and One UI 6, promising five major Android updates and
five years of security updates.
