Last week purported pricing for it in India leaked, and, right on time, today Samsung's Galaxy F15 has finally become official, following a bunch of leaks here and there. The phone will become available in India in Ash Black, Groovy Violet, and Jazzy Green on March 11 through Flipkart and Samsung India, however there's an "early sale" starting today at 7 PM local time.
The Galaxy F15 is priced at INR 12,999
with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or INR 14,499 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB
of storage. Interestingly, both of those prices are INR 500 lower than what was
rumored. The Galaxy F15 comes with a 6.6-inch 1080x2340 90 Hz AMOLED screen
with a waterdrop notch, the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, a triple rear camera
system (50 MP main, 5 MP ultrawide, 2 MP macro), a 13 MP selfie snapper, a
side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button, and a 6,000 mAh
battery with support for 25W fast charging (but no charger in the box). It runs
Android 14 with One UI 6 on top. It will receive four Android updates too, and
five years of security patches.
If these specs sound kind of familiar,
that's because we've seen them all before on the Galaxy A15 5G, save for one:
the 6,000 mAh battery. That's where the F15 stands out compared to its
almost-twin, giving you 1,000 mAh more, otherwise they are basically identical.
