Realme introduced the Narzo 70 Pro 5G today with what appears to be a pretty solid main camera for its price range. The phone claims to be the first in its segment with air gestures, letting you navigate the menu without touching the screen. Realme Narzo 70 Pro runs on a Dimensity 7050 chip with 8 GB and 128 GB or 256 GB storage. The phone does not have a micro SD slot for expanding the storage, but the Dimensity chip enables 5G connectivity.
The phone is built around a 6.67” AMOLED
display of Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Unlike its predecessor,
the Narzo 70 Pro packs a flat panel and frame around it. There is a punch hole
in the center of the screen for the 16 MP selfie camera. Around the back we see
a 50 MP main shooter with the very capable Sony IMX890 senor. The 1/1.56”
sensor is the largest in this price segment, Realme says and on top of that,
there is also OIS. Far less impressive are the 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro
cameras alongside it. .
Another key selling point of the Narzo 70
Pro is the 5,000 mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC charge support. The cell can be
filled from 1-50% in 19 minutes. The Narzo 70 Pro also gains a vapor chamber
cooling system. Air Gestures allows you to swipe through short videos, photo
albums, and social media by waving your hand instead of touching the screen.
You can also take screenshots, switch apps, and scroll up and down.
The Narzo 70 Pro's other highlights
include a USB-C port on the bottom, stereo speakers, an under-display fingerprint
scanner, anda 3.5 mm audio jack. Narzo 70 Pro 5G also has basic IP54 protection
and a display that interacts “reliably” when it has some raindrops on the
screen. Realme Narzo 70 Pro boots Realme UI 5.0 over Android 14 and comes in
two colors – Glass Green and Glass Gold. Both versions have a dual tone finish
on their backs – the top is clear glass, the bottom is frosted.
The price of the phone is INR 19,999
(US$ 240/€ 222) for the 128 GB version or INR 21,999 (US$ 265/€ 245) for the 256 GB
option.
