Realme's 12 series of devices already has four members - the 12, 12+, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro+, but that's apparently not enough. So, soon, there will be a fifth: the Realme 12x 5G. This has passed the a bunch of certifications, including Bluetooth and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), meaning its launch isn't necessarily imminent, but should still happen in the next few weeks or so. The phone has the model number RMX3997.
It has Bluetooth 5.3, and through a TUV
certification it's revealed to sport a 4,890 mAh rated capacity battery, which
will most likely be marketed as 5,000 mAh upon launch. The 12x supports 15W
wired charging.
Since it passed through BIS, its launch in
India is a given. Camera FV-5 reveals that its main shooter has f/1.8 aperture,
with a 28mm equivalent focal length. The front camera has f/2.0 aperture and
26mm equivalent focal length.
The Realme 12x's name implies it will be
the successor to the 11x, which arrived on the market last August. Perhaps this
one will be out sooner. We'll keep you posted.
