Xiaomi's brand Poco launched a new smartphone today. Say hello to the Poco X6 Neo! The phone comes in a stunning Gold color, which we have seen previously only in the Redmi Note 13R Pro. But the two phones share more than just the color - the hardware is absolutely identical between the two. They are also matching the Chinese Redmi Note 13 (not to be confused with the international Redmi Note 13 or the Redmi Note 13 5G).
Confusing lineup aside, the first Neo
phone in the Poco family comes with a 5G-enabled Dimensity 6080 chipset and
either 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage or 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. It's built
around a 6.67” OLED with Full HD+ resolution and up to 120 Hz refresh rate. The
panel has a punch hole in the top center for a 16 MP selfie camera, while the
back hosts a 108 MP main cam and a 2 MP depth sensor.
The new phone comes with the dated Android
13, despite the fact that Poco X6 Pro already ships in India with Android 14
and HyperOS on top. The 5,000 mAh battery supports 33W charging, and there is
only one speaker at the bottom; the earpiece does not act like a second one for
stereo sound.
Poco X6 Neo is exclusively available on
Flipkart in three colors – Astral Black, Horizon Blue, and Martian Orange
(that's the Gold one). Prices are INR 15,999 (US$ 190/€ 175) or INR 17,999
(US$ 215/€ 200), depending on storage choice, and first sale is scheduled for March
18, 12 PM IST.
