Oppo is apparently working on a new Reno series smartphone model. The new Reno 11A was recently spotted in a certification platform, which hints that the device’s launch could be right around the corner.
The Chinese brand’s Reno 11A was spotted
on the Bluetooth SIG certification. It appeared on the database carrying the
CPH2603 model number. To recall, this is the same model number as the Reno 11F,
which launched back in February 2024. Unfortunately, the listing does not
reveal any finer details regarding the Reno 11A, but confirms the support for
Bluetooth 5.2 standard.
The Bluetooth SIG certification also hints
that this might be a model that could launch in Japan soon. If this is true,
then it is likely a rebranded Reno 11F for Japan. Based on what we know so far,
the Reno 11F sports a tall 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh
rate and FHD+ resolution. The front packs a 32-megapixel selfie shooter, while
the rear features a 64-megapixel triple camera setup. Under the hood, it is
equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC that is paired with up to 8GB of
RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
A large 5,000mAh battery pack powers this
device, which also supports 67W wired fast charging. Other notable features
include an in-display fingerprint scanner, a microSD card slot, IP65 water and
dust resistance, HFC, dual SIM, and WiFi 6. So we can expect the Reno 11A to
feature similar if not identical specs as well.
