OnePlus is gearing up to introduce the Ace 3V, successor to last year’s Ace 2V in China later this month, and the sketch of the phone along with a live image of the phone. The phone is said to pack a 1.5K 120Hz 8T LTPO screen, powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (SM7675) SoC, feature 50MP main camera, OIS, 16MP front camera and pack a 5500mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging compared to 5000mAh battery and 80W fast charging in the older model.
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (SM7675) is said
to use a similar architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but with different clock
speeds and combinations – 1 x 2.9GHz Cortex-X4 + 4 x 2.61GHz Cortex-A720 + 3x
1.9GHz Cortex-A520 CPU and pack Adreno 732 GPU.
The OPPO K12 is also said to feature a
similar design, but it is said to come with different specifications and a cheaper
Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, up to 12GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, 6.7-inch screen,
50MP + 8MP dual rear cameras, and a 16MP front camera. This is said to be
priced under 2000 yuan in China.
The OnePlus Ace 2V was introduced in March
in China, and it was introduced globally, including India as OnePlus Nord 3.
The Ace 3V is expected to launch as OnePlus Nord 4 or Nord 5. According to
reliable leaker Max J, the Nord 4 is codenamed ‘Audi’. It took four months for
the Ace 2V to go global after the China launch in March last year. However, the
Nord 4 / 5 is expected within Q2 2024.
