Motorola has been busy releasing new phones lately. Just this week, the company launched two new devices globally — the Moto G Power 5G (2024) and Moto G 5G (2024). But it seems like they’re preparing to unveil even more products soon. Rumors have been circulating about Motorola’s upcoming Edge series devices. And now, a new Moto smartphone called the Moto G64y has popped up on the Google Play Console listing.
The listing confirms that the Moto G64y 5G
will be powered by the MediaTek MT6855 or the Dimensity 7020 chipset. The
processor is essentially a rebranded version of the MediaTek Dimensity 930,
featuring two ARM Cortex-A78 cores and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores. The listing further shows that the phone could
be available in two memory options, 8GB and 12GB, and will ship with Android 13
out of the box. Additionally, the Moto G64y’s display features a resolution of
1080×2400 pixels and a pixel density of 400 PPI.
The smartphone’s image in the Google Play
Console listing also shows a punch-hole camera cutout on the front. The volume
and power buttons appear to be located on the right side of the device. Apart
from this, there’s not much we know about the Moto G64y 5G at this time. Now
that it’s shown up on the Play Console, we can expect it to get certified by
other regulatory bodies worldwide.
Alternatively, Motorola may release
official teasers or further information about the phone in the near future.
We’ll make sure to keep you informed about any updates regarding the device.
