Lava has unveiled the Lava Blaze Curve 5G that it has been teasing since last month. As evident from its name, the Lava Blaze Curve 5G is built around a curved AMOLED display, measuring 6.67" diagonally with a 120Hz refresh rate and FullHD+ resolution. The screen is protected by Dragontrail Star 2 glass and has 800 nits peak brightness. It also has a centered punch-hole for the 32MP selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner underneath for biometric authentication.
The Lava Blaze Curve 5G's rear panel has a
3D glass design with a matte finish and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It sports a
triple camera setup comprising 64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide (120° FOV), and 2MP
macro units. The primary camera uses a Sony sensor and supports EIS. Under the
hood, we have the Dimensity 7050 SoC with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 25GB of
UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone runs clean Android 13 out of the box and
doesn't have ads and unwanted apps. Lava has also promised Android 14 and
Android 15 for the Blaze Curve 5G with three years of quarterly security
updates.
The rest of the Lava Blaze Curve 5G's
highlights include a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging, stereo speakers,
Dolby Atmos, and 5G support on both SIM slots. The Lava Blaze Curve 5G comes in
Iron Glass and Viridian Glass colors with two memory options - 8GB/128GB and
8GB/256GB, priced at INR 17,999 (US$ 220/€ 200) and INR 18,999 (US$ 230/€ 210),
respectively. It will go on sale in India starting March 11 through Amazon.in
and Lava's official Indian website and offline retail network.
Lava also offers free service at home with
the Blaze Curve 5G during the warranty period, so users don't have to take
their phone to the service center to get it fixed. This free service can be
availed from here.
