iQOO is reportedly working on the iQOO Pad 2 tablet for the Chinese market. The device may likely break cover in April in China. Several weeks before the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station leaked the device’s key specifications, revealing that it would be a rebranded version of a Vivo tablet.
To recall, iQOO unveiled the iQOO Pad as
its first-ever tablet in 2023. It debuted as a tweaked version of the Vivo Pad
2. According to DCS, the upcoming iQOO Pad 2 series will feature a big LCD
panel and the Dimensity 9300 chipset. In a previous Weibo post, the tipster
reportedly mentioned that the model number PA2473 belongs to the upcoming iQOO
Pad.
Readers should note that the above Weibo
post mentions the word “series,” which suggests that the lineup may include at
least two models. Several reports have claimed Vivo will announce the Dimensity
9300-powered Vivo Pad 3 Pro this month in China. It is also said that the Vivo
Pad 3 will debut the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (tentative name) in China’s second
quarter of this year. It appears that one of the upcoming iQOO Pad 2 models
will be a rebranded version of the Vivo Pad 3 Pro. It remains to be seen
whether the other iQOO Pad arrives with a repackaged Vivo Pad 3.
According to reports, the Vivo Pad 3 Pro
will have a 12.95-inch LCD panel that offers a 3K resolution and a 144Hz
refresh rate. The D9300-powered tablet will offer 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of
storage, and an 11,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It will have an
8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
