Honor is set to unveil its Magic6 Ultimate and RSR Porsche Design phones on Monday and we now have a new batch of renders showcasing their design in Ink Rock Black and Sky Purple colors.
We can see both phones will share the same
basic design with vegan leather backs curved sides and a substantial camera
island housing three sensors. We already got confirmation that both phones will
bring a 1-inch type 50MP OmniVision OV50K main sensor with f/1.4 – f/2.0
variable aperture and class-leading dynamic range.
In related news, Honor also shared a sneak
peek at the display for the Magic6 Ultimate and RSR edition phones. It’s a BOE
K2 display panel featuring a dual-layer OLED display – a first in the
smartphone industry. Honor claims the new BOE panel will offer a 6x longer
lifespan while also providing 40% better energy efficiency compared to regular
OLED panels. Dual-stack OLED display panels are also touted to offer higher
peak brightness and less chance of developing screen burn-in.
The 8T LTPO panel is expected to come in
at 6.8 inches with 1,280 x 2,800px resolution and a 1-120Hz refresh rate. Honor
is also touting 4,320Hz PWM dimming.
