ASUS has officially launched its latest addition to the Zenbook series, the Zenbook 13 2024, further expanding its lineup of advanced notebooks. This new model stands out for its remarkably lightweight design, weighing in at just around 1kg, and its inclusion of the cutting-edge Intel Core Ultra 7 155U processor. The Zenbook 13 2024 is available in two color variants: Deep Lake Blue priced at 8699 yuan (US$ 1,208) and Polar Gray at 9199 yuan (US$ 1,278).
Zenbook 13 2024 offers a 2.8K OLED HDR
display (2880×1800 resolution) with a peak brightness of 600 nits, covering
100% P3 wide color gamut and a true HDR contrast of 1 million:1, ensuring vivid
and lifelike visuals. Each unit undergoes ΔE<1 color calibration for
accurate color representation. It has received TUV Rheinland certification for
hardware-level low blue light emission, flicker-free certification, and SGS Eye
Care certification, ensuring a comfortable viewing experience.
Under the hood, the laptop is powered by
the Intel Core Ultra 7 155U processor, which boasts a maximum turbo frequency
of 4.8GHz. This processor features 12 cores and 14 threads, alongside an
integrated NPU AI engine, making it capable of supporting a 200 billion
parameter large language model for offline operations.
The Zenbook 13 2024 offers a variety of
connectivity options including a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-A 3.2 Gen2, HDMI2.1,
and dual Thunderbolt USB-C ports. It is powered by a 63Wh battery, supporting
approximately 16 hours of 1080P video playback. This notebook maintains ASUS’s
minimalist design ethos, with a body thickness of just 1cm achieved through the
use of a magnesium-aluminum alloy for the keyboard panel and a thinner OLED
screen to maximize internal space. Despite its slim profile, the Zenbook 13
2024 does not compromise on performance or battery life, making it an ideal
choice for users seeking a powerful yet portable notebook.
ASUS enhances user experience with its new
software suite, ASUS Hall, featuring OLED Care to extend screen life and
AI-powered camera functions for improved video conferencing. The laptop boasts
Dolby panoramic sound for immersive audio, a backlit keyboard for low-light
typing, and military-grade MIL-STD 810H durability testing. It also includes a
high-resolution 1080p+ infrared dual camera for video calls and an ambient
light sensor for automatic screen adjustments.
