vivo launched the Y200 last October, and as promised, the company unveiled the Y200e today. It's powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, runs Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14, and comes with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. The vivo Y200e features a 6.67" 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED Display, having a fingerprint scanner underneath and a punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera.
Around the back, it sports a triple camera
system comprising 50MP primary and 2MP depth units joined by a flicker sensor.
The vivo Y200e has a 2.5D flat design, with its Saffron Delight model's rear
panel having "Durable Eco-Fiber Leather Finish," making it 5.5g
heavier and 0.2mm thicker than the Black Diamond version.
The durability of the faux leather comes
from its anti-stain coating and scratch resistance. But regardless of which
variant you buy, you get IP54 dust and water resistance. The rest of the vivo
Y200e's highlights include a 5,000 mAh battery with 44W charging, 5G connectivity,
USB-C, dual stereo speakers, and Hi-Res Audio.
The vivo Y200e's 6GB/128GB variant is
priced at INR 19,999 (US$ 240/€ 220), while the 8GB/128GB version costs INR 20,999
(US$ 255/€ 235). It will be sold through Flipkart and vivo's official website in
India. The latter is also accepting pre-orders.
