vivo has confirmed the launch of Y200e 5G, the company’s next 5G smartphone in India on February 22nd. This comes after the launch of Y200 in October last year. The company says that this will be the first phone in India to feature a durable eco-fiber leather finish on the back, and has also posted images of the phone in orange color with the leather finish. The teaser image also shows the phone in Blue colour, which has a normal finish on the back.
The image shows triple rear cameras for
the phone, compared to dual cameras on the Y200, and the position of the flash
has moved to the right side of the camera. Based on reports, the phone will
feature almost similar specifications as the Y100 5G which was launched in
Indonesia recently, so we can expect a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, but
this is said to get a 16MP front camera.
The triple cameras should be 50MP main,
8MP ultra-wide and a flicker sensor. It should be powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2
SoC compared to Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 in the Y200. We can expect 8GB + 128GB /
256GB models, and a 5000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.
The vivo Y200e 5G will be sold on
Flipkart, in addition to vivo India online store. We should know the price when
it is launched next week.
