Huawei has lifted the curtain off a new smartphone in its home market of China, the Enjoy 70z. This one has a whopping 6,000 mAh battery, which is its main claim to fame since it's meant to be affordable. It supports 22.5W wired charging. The phone will go on pre-sale from Huawei's online store on February 22 at 10:08 China time.
It also has up to 256GB of storage, more
than you'd expect from its price class, and will be upgradeable to Huawei's
HarmonyOS 4. It will start at just CNY 1,099, which at the current exchange
rates translates into approximately US$ 152 or € 141. For that amount of cash,
you're getting 128GB of storage. If you want to double it, then you'll need to
pay CNY 1,299 (US$ 180 or € 167).
The Enjoy 70z will join the already
available Enjoy 70 in the Chinese market. It will be offered in black, white,
and blue. The Enjoy 70 was subsequently launched internationally as the nova
Y72, so perhaps a similar fate could be in the cards for the 70z.
