Honor finally unveiled the Magic 6 Pro in China. Following the launch in the home market, the company was expected to release the device across the globe as well. Now, the device was spotted on a certification platform in Thailand, which hints that the overseas announcement might be near.
The Magic 6 Pro recently surfaced on the
NBTC database. It was seen carrying the BVL-N49 model number. Unfortunately,
finer details like specs or features weren’t revealed on this certification
listing but it does hint at an imminent global launch. Just earlier today, the smartphone also visited the IMDA certification in
Singapore.
In another report from today, we covered
the EU and UK pricing for the Magic 6 Pro as well. The device is expected to
cost 1,299 Euros in the EU and 1,099 Pounds Sterling in the UK. This is for the
single 12GB + 512GB storage configuration of the device. Based on the previous
China release, the Magic 6 Pro sports a tall 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display that
offers FHD+ resolution, 50-megapixel selfie shooter, and a 120Hz refresh rate
on the front.
Meanwhile, the rear packs a 50-megapixel
triple camera setup. Under the hood, it is equipped with the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. A large 5,600mAh battery pack powers this device, which
also supports 80W wired fast charging, 66W wireless fast charging, as well as
reverse charging (both wired and wireless). Honor is gearing up to unveil the
Magic 6 Pro during the upcoming MWC 2024 event (Mobile World Congres), so stick
around as we will be covering its launch.
