At CES 2024, Tack One, a Singapore-based global location intelligence company, announced the Tack GPS Plus location tracker. This is a successor to the Tack GPS that was introduced back in 2020. It comes with a new Indoor Elevation Finder capability that utilizes advanced sensors together with intelligent algorithms to quickly locate missing items/patients.
This revolutionary next-generation global
tracker redefines the way location technology can be applied to consumers’
everyday needs as well as commercial and at-scale applications, including
outdoor and indoor location services, enhanced care and safety for patients
with Alzheimer’s disease, and disaster management and preparedness, said the
company.
The Tack GPS Plus offers up to 30 days of
battery life and uses advanced Hybrid Location Technology (a combination of GPS
satellites, Wi-Fi and loT mobile network) and leverages AI and smart sensors to
optimize the power usage of the tracker.
Alongside Tack GPS Plus, the company also
introduced OurSphere, a new cross-platform and versatile mobile app that tracks
various Tack devices. In the app, users can invite members and create
‘spheres,’ allowing them to real-time location, and meeting points. These
‘spheres’ can be permanent or set to automatically expire after a set amount of
time. Users can enable location masking for any sphere to protect their
privacy.
The Tack GPS Plus is priced at SGD 107.90
(USD 80). It is available on the company’s website and
major Asian e-commerce platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, and Amazon (North
America, UK, and Australia). The OurSphere app is currently available for
preview via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
