Poco just capped off its latest launch event where we got the newest members in the Poco X-series. Poco X6 looks identical to the Redmi Note 13 Pro but switches up the 200MP main cam for a 64MP shooter. It’s also equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip which is a pretty big leap compared to last year’s Poco X5 and its Snapdragon 695. Poco X6 Pro is a rebrand of the Redmi K70E and opts for MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset and slower 67W charging instead of the 90W speeds on the K70E.
Both Poco X6 phones get 6.67-inch AMOLED
displays with 1,220 x 2,712px resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800
nits of peak brightness. They also share the same 16MP front-facing camera
housed inside a punch-hole cutout and in-display fingerprint scanners - a first
for Poco smartphones.
The 64MP main camera offers 2x lossless
in-sensor zoom and brings OIS. It is joined by an 8MP ultrawide module and 2MP
macro lens. Poco X6 Pro boots Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14 while X6 will
launch with the older MIIUI 14 but is promised to get updated to HyperOS soon.
Poco is also guaranteeing 3 Android updates a 4 years of security patches for
both X6 models.
Poco X6 Pro features a 5,000 mAh battery
with 67W charging while X6 gets a slightly larger 5,100 mAh battery with the
same 67W charging speeds. Poco X6 is available in black, white and blue colors
while Poco X6 Pro comes in black, grey and the signature Poco yellow.
