OnePlus Buds 3

OnePlus is introducing the Buds 3 on January 4 alongside the Ace 3 smartphone. The design of the TWS earphones leaked earlier this year, and now we can confirm the leak was correct – Buds 3 will look a lot like the Buds Pro 2. The new audio wearables also claim to provide flagship-tier audio quality thanks to the dual drivers. OnePlus even posted a graph claiming the Buds 3 will be much better than an unnamed competitor across five key aspects.

The dual-design solution has been part of the Buds Pro lineup, and now the non-Pro is also getting it. It will also have next-gen noise cancellation to provide better audio and call quality. At the same time, design-wise the buds and the case do not appear to be anything new or revolutionary.

OnePlus Buds 3 will score nearly perfect across the board – 4.7 for bass, 4.8 for clarity, timbre and vocals, and 4.6 for spatial sound. This averages 4.74 out of 5, but let's remember these tests were done in the OnePlus Labs, and rates mean nothing without any meaningful context.

The company has already opened reservations, which basically sends a notification for everyone when the product drops on Wednesday, and that's when people can pre-order the OnePlus Buds 3.
