LG SIGNATURE OLED M4, OLED G4, and OLED evo 2024

LG has announced its latest lineup of 2024 OLED TVs ahead of CES 2024. This comes after the company recently announced, 2024 QNED and QNED Mini LED TVs. The company promises an exceptional viewing experience and AI performance, all thanks to LG’s latest AI processor. These AI-powered processors on the newer models are expected to deliver 4-fold higher AI performance, with upgraded AI upscaling, AI Sound Pro, and more. LG SIGNATURE OLED M4 and LG OLED G4 TVs are equipped with the new α (Alpha) 11 AI processor, providing a 70% improved graphic performance and a 30% faster processing speed than its predecessor.

Leveraging these AI performance upgrades, LG has introduced several features like AI upscaling and AI Picture Pro. AI upscaling utilizing precise pixel-level image analysis, to effectively sharpen objects and backgrounds that may appear blurry. Moreover, the ingenious AI processor adeptly refines colors by analyzing frequently used shades that best convey the mood and emotional elements intended by filmmakers and content creators.

Further, Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro elevates the details with precise HDR optimization to deliver 3D quality. AI Sound Pro, on the other hand, offers virtual 11.1.2 surround sound from the TVs’ built-in speakers. LG SIGNATURE OLED M4, the successor to the SIGNATURE OLED M3, now also comes in a 65″ variant in addition to a 97″ model. The OLED M4 is the world’s first TV with wireless video and audio transmission at up to 4K 144Hz, delivering superior OLED performance with accurate details and an elevated sense of immersion, said the company.

LG’s latest OLED evo models have acquired the Video Electronics Standards Association’s (VESA) ClearMR certification, promising razor-sharp picture quality. The latest models feature several gaming advantages including an impressive 4K 144Hz refresh rate and comprehensive HDMI 2.1 features. These advanced TVs also come with Game Optimizer to let gamers easily switch between display presets designed for different gaming genres, and support NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync to eliminate immersion-breaking tearing and stuttering for the most dynamic, true-to-life gaming experience.

When it comes to software, these models will feature a new webOS program that promises up to 5 years of OS updates. Further, these offer up to 10 individual profiles, Apple AirPlay and Chromecast support, and an array of accessibility features including dedicated menu settings, sign language avatars, remote control tutorials, and more.

Furthermore, the main home UI screen of the newest version of webOS features Dynamic Q Card for fast, effortless access to its services, with the customized organization into groups, such as Home Office, Home Hub, Sports, and Games.

The pricing and availability of the latest OLED TV models will be announced at the time of launch. LG will showcase the latest OLED TV models at CES 2024 from January 9-12.
