LG has unveiled the 2024 Gram laptops that feature a thin form factor, lightweight, and advanced AI. As the title says, there are three versions of the laptop. The regular model (16Z90SP) has a 16-inch display, and 17-inch(17Z90SP), and the 2-in-1 variant (16T90SP) where you can tilt the screen up to 360 degrees and make it work like a tablet.
In terms of weight, these laptops range
from 1.1kg to 1.39kg depending on whether you choose iGPU or dedicated
graphics. Moreover, these devices measure 12.4mm thick for portability. All
models feature WQXGA resolutions and OLED panels, DCI-P3 color gamut, 400 nits
of max brightness, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the regular 16-inch
version has the option of 2.8K resolution. In addition, the 2-in-1 variant
features a touchscreen and supports a wireless-chargeable pen for flexibility
and elevated user experience.
Inside, you can choose between the Intel
Core Ultra 5 processor or the Ultra 7 processor. These are Intel's new chips
with dedicated NPU to handle advanced AI tasks alone even without the internet
providing an improved overall device functionality. These processors are also
paired with up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB storage options, and RTX
3050 graphics.
Other features mentioned are the mega
cooling system, web camera, and stereo speakers (2 x 3W) with support for HD
audio with Dolby Atmos. For ports, they
have 2x USB 3.2 Gen2, 2x USB 4 Gen3x2 Type C (with Power Delivery, DisplayPort,
Thunderbolt 4), and HDMI 2.1.
Another highlight is the LG Gram Link, an
AI feature that allows users to perform seamless file sharing on up to 10
Android and iOS devices. Users may also navigate mobile phones and tablets
using the notebook's keyboard and mouse providing users with enhanced
connectivity and scalability. As for OS, these run Windows 11 Pro out of the
box.
