Lenovo has introduced its newest innovation at the CES 2024. One of the main attractions of the event is the ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid. Find out why. As the name implies the new computer has 2-in-1 Hybrid functionality. It can work like a traditional laptop with smarter AI or as a standalone tablet. Lenovo made it possible by combining the Windows 11 Operating System for PC experience and an Android OS for portability.

In terms of display, it uses a 14-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen with a detachable function (tablet mode). Meanwhile, the display also supports a stylus pen for writing or drawing purposes. At the heart of the device. It has two chips inside namely the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor with Intel Arc-based integrated graphics. It is paired with 32GB RAM/1TB storage and 75WHr battery.

For tablet mode, it has a 4nm 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core CPU with a new Adreno, 12GB RAM/256GB storage, and 38WHr battery. As for charging speeds, it is accompanied by a 100W power adaptor. For cameras, 13MP + 5MP rear shooter and a Full HD selfie camera with IR sensor.

Others mentioned are a quad-speaker system for an immersive listening experience and a fingerprint reader for security. Another highlight here is that you can connect the keyboard/half body to a monitor and make it work like a desktop PC then use the tablet head as an extra display or writing pad for further productivity options.

For ports, it features 2x Thunderbolt 4 USB-C. Meanwhile, it has WiFi and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. It is unknown whether the tablet head supports SIM functionality.

Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid priced at USD 1,999. When it comes to availability, the new innovative tablet/PC is going to be available by 2nd quarter of 2024.
