ZOTAC has just launched an interesting mini PC in the market called the ZBOX Edge CI343. What makes it interesting is the fact that it is compact yet noise-free at the same time. To achieve its noise-free status, the mini PC does not feature a cooling fan.
The ZBOX edge CI343 is powered by the
Intel N100 processor, manufactured using advanced 10nm technology. With four
cores and four execution threads, it operates at speeds of up to 3.4 GHz. Whether
handling productivity tasks, using computer tools, browsing, or engaging in 4K
multimedia playback, the Intel N100 ensures a reliable and seamless
performance.
An innovative passive cooling system
distinguishes the ZBOX edge CI343. The case functions as a heatsink,
eliminating the need for a fan. This design choice minimizes noise levels,
providing a quiet computing environment while maintaining efficiency. With the
integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU, the mini PC is capable of supporting up to
4K resolution at 60fps. It has two HDMI 2.0 video outputs and a DisplayPort.
For connectivity, the mini PC features Wifi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2. The mini PC
offers a range of ports, including 2 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0, 1 USB-C, 2 3.5mm audio
jacks, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and 2 RS232 DB9 COM ports, ensuring
adaptability to various connectivity needs. Supporting up to 16GB of RAM and
offering storage flexibility with options such as NVMe PCIE3.0x2 M.2 2280 SSD,
MSATA connector, and a SATA 3 interface for a 2.5-inch drive, the ZBOX edge
CI343 accommodates various usage scenarios.
Currently, there is no word on the exact
availability of the ZOTAC ZBOX Edge CI343. However, it is expected to emerge on
Amazon soon. In the meantime, check out the ZBOX pico PI430AJ, a mini PC that
uses an AirJet solid-state active cooling system.
