Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in the second quarter of 2024. To be precise, it is expected to launch along with the Xiaomi Pad 7 series of flagship tablets in the coming April. In a recent Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station seems to have revealed the battery size and charging capabilities of the 14 Ultra.
In a recent Weibo post, tipster DCS said a
device dubbed Venti, which appears to be a codename, is equipped with a
5,180mAh battery. He also added that the device will arrive with support for
90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
While the leaker has not mentioned the
name of the device explicitly, it is speculated that he could be talking about
the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. In comparison, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra packs a 5,000mAh
battery and comes with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
A recent leak by the same tipster revealed
that it will arrive with four 50-megapixel cameras on the back. The main
sensor, which is said to be the 1-inch Sony LYT-900 camera, is expected to
support an f/1.6 – f/4.0 variable aperture. It is also said to offer native
focal lengths of 0.5x, 1x, 3.2x, and 5x.
Like the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro, the Xiaomi
14 Ultra will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 onboard. It is also expected
to run on HyperOS-based Android 14. It is speculated that the Xiaomi device
with the 24030PN60G, which was approved by the EEC authority in October, could
be the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to compete
with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Oppo Find X7 Pro, and the
Vivo X100 Pro+ (or Ultra) in the Chinese market.
