Teclast continues to expand its affordable product lineup. After introducing the T60 model with a 12-inch display, the company has now launched its newest tablet, the Teclast P30T. This budget-friendly tablet comes with solid specifications and operates on Android 14, all while maintaining its “affordable” price tag.
Affordable Android tablets often raise
concerns about their performance. Typically, a low price means lower technical
specs. However, the Teclast P30T challenges this assumption. While it’s not a
cutting-edge flagship with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, its
features are surprisingly decent for a device priced below US$ 150.
Looking at the display features, the
Teclast P30T comes with a 10.1-inch IPS display and a resolution of 1280 x 800. The display is also TDDI-enabled, allowing for faster and more efficient data
transfer than traditional touchscreen technologies. While it may not have the
most outstanding display but considering its price, it’s still quite good one.
The P30T is powered by an Allwinner A523
octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.8 GHz. It packs 4 GB of
regular RAM, an extra 4 GB of virtual RAM, and a roomy 128 GB storage. The
device comes with a 6000 mAh battery, Wi-Fi 6, dual cameras, dual speakers, and
facial recognition. It runs on Android 14 out of the box, offering a more
rounded UI design, a fresh application drawer background color, and
personalized settings.
Teclast plans to add some unique features
in future Android 14 updates, like forced landscape mode, parallel view, and a
PC-like mode. Priced just under 1,000 yuan (US$ 145), the Teclast P30T hits the
Chinese market in December 2023.
