Poco C65

The Poco C65 unveiled last month was introduced to the Indian market today. It comes in Pastel Blue and Matte Black colors with three memory options - 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB, priced at INR 8,499 (US$ 100/€ 95), INR 9,499 (US$ 115/€ 105), and INR 10,999 (US$ 130/€ 120), respectively. Sales begin December 18 at noon local time through Flipkart, and those who purchase the phone with ICICI Bank's debit/credit cards will receive an INR 1,000 (US$ 12/€ 11) discount as a part of the special sale day offer.

The Poco C65 has the Helio G85 SoC at the helm and runs Android 13-based MIUI 14 for Poco out of the box. It comes with the promise of two Android version updates and three years of security updates. However, Poco didn't reveal how frequently the security updates would be released.

The Poco C65 sports a 6.74" HD+ 90Hz LCD and features four cameras - 50MP primary, 2MP macro, and 0.08MP auxiliary units on the rear and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The smartphone packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging support, but the retail package comes bundled with a 10W adapter. The rest of the Poco C65's highlights include a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB, USB-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
