The nubia Z60 Ultra is arriving on December 19, and today, we saw what the phone might look like. Two images, courtesy of the brand's page on Weibo, revealed the new flagship will have a flat front panel and sides. At the same time, on the back, there will be a big “outstanding” camera that would bring an “unprecedented photo experience”.
The phone's main camera is expected to
have a 35 mm equivalent focal length, which is not a new feature we've seen in
the Z50S Pro and Axon 40 Ultra. We do expect a new sensor behind, but only time
will tell. The poster also said, “the first Ultra of the 23/24 season”, clearly
poking fun at the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra, both expected
in the first months of the next year.
The camera island will definitely bring a
unique design because, after heavy exposure manipulation, we can see another
shooter in the flat-side image. It could be the ultra-wide angle shooter, which
had a 64 MP sensor in previous phones by ZTE and its subsidiary nubia. We
expect nubia to post more teasers in the following days, including more details
about its new under-display selfie camera.
