Keychron has introduced its latest wireless keyboard, the Q1 HE keyboard, now available through crowdfunding on Kickstarter. The keyboard comes with 82 keys in a 75% layout, including 12 multimedia keys. It features south-facing RGB switch faces, NKRO anti-ghosting, and a 4000mAh rechargeable li-polymer battery. This hot-swappable keyboard supports dynamic 4-in-1 action keys, and its dimensions and weight make it a substantial yet manageable addition to any workspace.
The keyboard features a sturdy full metal
body made from eco-friendly 6063 aluminum. The keyboard includes PBT keycaps
and uses silicone pads to minimize sound. It also has PCB-mounted screw-in
stabilizers for a stable typing experience. The Q1 HE keyboard stands out with
its use of Gateron 2.0 magnetic hall sensor switches. These switches feature a
dual-rail structure, extended stem design, and special pre-lubrication for
improved stability and smoothness. They offer customizable actuation points,
allowing users to adjust sensitivity within a range of 0.1mm to 4.0mm,
providing a tailored typing experience.
In terms of connectivity, the keyboard
offers both 2.4G and Bluetooth wireless options. In 2.4G mode, it offers a 1000
Hz polling rate for a responsive gaming experience. Furthermore, it supports
Bluetooth 5.1, allowing seamless connection to up to three devices. For
customization, the Q1 HE is compatible with the Keychron web app, allowing
users to remap keys, adjust actuation points, and set personalized macro
commands. It supports multiple operating systems, including macOS, Windows, and
Linux, and offers 22 types of RGB backlight settings for added visual appeal.
The keyboard comes in two colors: Carbon
Black and Shell White. The Kickstarter campaign offers two options for the Q1
HE keyboard: a bare-bones model without switches or keycaps available for US$ 194,
and a fully assembled model priced at US$ 214. Last month, the company introduced
the Keychron M3 Mini Metal Edition, a super lightweight mouse with an 80
million click lifespan, priced at US$ 99. Additionally, Keychron has launched the
M6 three-mode mouse featuring an ergonomic design.
