Coolpad has recently introduced the Cool 20+ in the Chinese market, marking the fourth addition to their 20 series lineup. This follows the previous releases of the Cool 20, Cool 20 Pro, and Cool 20s, all targeting the budget-conscious audience over the course of three years.
Cool 20+ boasts a 6.52-inch IPS LCD HD+
waterdrop display with a screen-to-body ratio of 89.2% and a resolution of
1600×720. The display features double-sided 2.5D glass and offers a pixel
density of 259 PPI. The back panel is made out of scratch-resistant glass. The
device is powered by Mediatek Helio G85 chipset with Mali-G52 MC3. The device
comes in three variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB/128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB
storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.
Out of the box, the device runs on Android 11 with CoolOS 2 on top.
Coming to the optics, the Cool 20+ is
equipped with a dual-camera setup on the rear. This setup consists of a 48 MP
primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 0.3 MP portrait blur
secondary camera. For selfies and video calls, it sports a 5 MP front-facing
camera. The Cool 20+ smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM support with 4G LTE
compatibility and Bluetooth 5.0. It has a height of 164.3mm, a width of
75.66mm, and a slim 8.5mm thickness, weighing approximately 180g with the
battery included. Under the hood, it packs a 4500mAh battery with 10W charging
capability.
Coolpad Cool 20+ comes in Black and Blue
colors. The specific pricing for the Cool 20+ has not been disclosed. It was
previously launched in the Philippines and the 6GB + 128GB variant was offered
at a price of 736 yuan, equivalent to approximately US$ 103.
