Xiaomi has a new smartphone in the making called the Redmi Note 13 4G. The device has already emerged on Singapore’s IMDA certification website. Now, it has also visited the FCC certification database revealing some key specs.
The device, identified by the model number
23129RA5FL comes with support for 2G, 3G, and 4G networks, along with
compatibility for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks. It is a dual-SIM device
with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, and SBAS support for navigation. Additionally,
Bluetooth connectivity is featured and it will come pre-loaded with MIUI 14,
which we know is based on Android 13.
Although the listing does not reveal any
further specification details, an earlier report has claimed that the processor
will be the same Snapdragon 685 as last year. We can expect some incremental
upgrades in other departments like camera, battery, display, etc. Here are the
specs of the Note 12 4G from last year. The Redmi Note 12 4G smartphone boasts
a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a sharp FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels
and 120Hz refresh rate. It has a high contrast ratio of 4,500,000:1, and a peak
brightness of 1,200 nits. Driving the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685
chipset, complemented by LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It operates on MIUI
14 based on Android 13.
The phone’s camera setup includes a 50MP
Samsung JN1 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For
selfies and video calls, there is a 13MP front camera. Connectivity options for
the Redmi Note 12 4G include dual SIM support, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0,
GNSS, and USB Type-C. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a
dedicated MicroSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is equipped
with a substantial 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast wired charging.
