After launching the VT9 Air Lite gaming mouse last month, Rapoo has now introduced the Rapoo VT9 Air, a new dual-mode mouse designed for both casual use and competitive gaming, priced at 249 yuan (US$ 34). This mouse combines an attractive semi-transparent shell with high-performance features.
The Rapoo VT9 Air is a lightweight mouse
designed for both aesthetics and functionality. It weighs approximately 59
grams and features an 800mAh battery that can last up to 160 hours on a single
charge. The mouse is powered by a custom 3398 engine (3395 premium version)
that supports both 4K wireless and 8K wired connectivity. In wired mode, it
offers an impressive 8KHz polling rate and a quick 125μs response time, while
in wireless mode, it provides a 4KHz polling rate with a 250μs response time.
The gaming mouse features Omron
microswitches rated for 60 million clicks. It’s designed to fit various hand
grips and sizes, supporting both 122 and 131 grip styles. The transparent ABS
shell, available in black and white, not only looks attractive but is also
resistant to paint chipping due to its matte texture process. The mouse sports
a magnetic storage compartment for the micro nano 4K receiver to prevent loss
and comes with six PTFE Teflon feet for smoother movement. The package includes
accessories like a 1.8m braided power/data cable with a gold-plated USB
interface, a USB adapter, and spare anti-slip stickers and feet for maintenance
and improved control.
The Rapoo VT9 Air mouse also offers
extensive customization through its software, allowing users to adjust DPI
settings across seven levels (ranging from 50 to 26000 DPI), assign functions
to 10 buttons, and create macros for gaming efficiency. The mouse’s firmware
supports online updates, factory resets, and language switching. It
incorporates a low-power chip and an intelligent power-saving algorithm from
Rapoo to optimize power usage in various states, ensuring a consistent gaming
experience.
