Meizu is one of the brands that is gearing up to launch Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered flagship phones in China. It is speculated that the brand may unveil the Meizu 21 and Meizu 21 Pro featuring the new chip very soon in the home market. Today, a Meizu device, probably belonging to the Meizu 21 series, bagged radio certification in China. The certification is a good hint that the Meizu 21 series’ launch may not be far away.
As per reports, the standard version of
Meizu 21 carries the model number M461Q. It is speculated that model numbers
M461H and M461S are also associated with the Meizu 21. Reports have revealed
that the M481Q and M481S belong to the Meizu 21 Pro. As can be seen in the
above screenshot, the alleged Meizu 21 Pro bearing the model number M481S
received radio certification in China. The listing only confirms that it will
arrive with support for UWB ultra-wideband technology. To recall, the Meizu 21
(M461Q) was spotted on the same certification website last month.
Likely, the Meizu 21 series will soon
receive 3C and TENAA certification in China in the coming days. Hence, it
appears that it may break by the end of this year or early January in China.
Here is a look at what to expect from the Meizu 21 series: As per recent leaks,
the Meizu 21 will feature a flexible BOE Q9 display that offers a 1.5K screen
resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and Gorilla Glass Victus
screen protection. In terms of battery life, the Meizu 21 series is equipped
with a 4,800mAh battery with 80W charging. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered phone
may come with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
As for the camera setup, the Meizu 21 is
likely to feature a 32-megapixel Samsung GD2 front camera and a rear setup
featuring an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Sony IMX966 primary camera, a
16-megapixel Samsung S5K3P9 ultra-wide lens, and a 12-megapixel IMX663 portrait
