Mechrevo has released a new mechanical keyboard called the K590 in China, available for 309 yuan (US$ 42). The keyboard is now up for pre-sale. Let’s delve into the key specs of this keyboard. The K590 comes in two variants: “Dawn” and “Nightfall,” featuring distinct switch types and color schemes of White and Black, respectively.
The keyboard features a 99-key, 98% layout
with a Gasket structure for an excellent typing experience. It comes with
custom Mechrevo switches named “Jelly” and “Potato” to suit various user
preferences, and these switches are hot-swappable, allowing users to change
them without soldering. The Jelly Switch provides a quiet and linear feel,
suitable for extended typing, while the Potato Switch offers tactile feedback
and responsive rebound, making it ideal for typing and office tasks.
The K590 mechanical keyboard, created in
collaboration with Fingertip Creative, has keycaps made using dual-color
injection molding and a four-layer internal filling for durability and tactile
satisfaction. It offers three connection modes: 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth 5.0,
and Type-C wired. The keyboard also features a comprehensive RGB lighting
system with 16.8 million colors and supports full-key macro programming,
providing users with a highly customizable experience.
The keyboard also prioritizes sound
quality with a multi-layer noise reduction system. It offers adjustable
dual-stage feet and a magnetic cable organizer for an ergonomic and organized
setup. Mechrevo has also invested in customizing the switches for quick
actuation and a lightweight feel, including extended dual-stage springs,
high-transparency upper housing, and anti-oxidation alloy contacts, promising a
lifespan of approximately 50 million keystrokes.
The keyboard, measuring 389 x 139.5 x 42.7
mm, comes with a 4000mAh battery, ensuring extended usage between charges.
