Huawei has just launched the Huawei Nova 11 SE mid-range phone in the Chinese market. Speculations are rife that the brand will unveil the Nova 12 series either this month or in December in China. The lineup is expected to rival the OPPO Reno 11 series and Vivo S18 series, which are expected to debut around the same time. A leaked render of the alleged Nova 12 Pro has emerged to showcase its unique front and rear design.
As can be seen in the above image, the
Huawei Nova 12 Pro features a curved-edge OLED display on the front. What’s
interesting about the display is that it features two distinct selfie camera
cutouts that are positioned apart from each other, leaving a portion of the
display visible in between them. Rumors have it that the phone is equipped with
a 60-megapixel dual selfie camera setup.
The rear camera setup of the Nova 12 Pro
also has a distinctive appeal as it features the primary camera at the top,
followed by an oval-shaped camera island, which houses the remaining two lenses
with a horizontal LED flash strip in between. According to rumors, it features
a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, which can also
function as a macro lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera.
It is speculated that the Nova 12 Pro will
come equipped with the 5G-enabled Kirin 9000s chipset, and its OLED panel will
offer a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to house a 4,500mAh battery with
100W fast charging support. It is expected to run on Harmony OS 4 and come with
support for two-way satellite connectivity.
In related news, Huawei is also expected
to unveil the standard Nova 12 alongside the Pro model. It is likely that the
device may come equipped with the new Kirin 830 chipset.
