The latest MatePad Pro tablet from Huawei brings an 11-inch OLED display with a 1,600 x 2,560px resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio and 600 nits peak brightness. The slate features an aluminum chassis and six speakers and is just 5.9mm thick. MatePad Pro 11 also debuts Huawei’s Kirin 9000s chipset featuring a 1+3+4 CPU configuration. The performance core is clocked @ 2.49 GHz and is joined by 3x cores @ 2.15 GHz and 4x efficiency cores @ 1.53 GHz.
The recent Geekbench listing revealed
synthetic performance in line with the regular Kirin 9000s and Qualcomm’s
Snapdragon 865. The tablet is joined by 12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage and is
also the first MatePad to support two-way Beidou Satellite messaging.
The back brings a 13MP main cam and an 8MP
ultrawide lens. You also get a 16MP front-facing camera housed inside a
punch-hole cutout. The software side is covered by HarmonyOS 4 while the 8,300
mAh battery brings 66W charging support. You also get Bluetooth 5.2
connectivity and support for the third-generation Huawei M-Pencil.
MatePad Pro 11 2024 comes in grey, blue,
white and black colors. Pricing starts at CNY 4,199 (US$ 592) for the 12/256GB trim
while the 12/512GB version is priced at CNY 4,699 (US$ 663).
