The Edifier TWS1 Air Bluetooth headset has been launched in China. The TWS1 Air comes with adaptive noise reduction based on Qualcomm’s AdaptiveANC technology. The Edifier TWS1 Air can intelligently adapt to the user’s ear shape and wearing tightness. It then adjusts the noise reduction performance dynamically and in real-time. The Bluetooth headset is capable of up to 42dB deep noise reduction. The headset also features multiple noise reduction modes which can switched on when needed. This provides excellent noise reduction in different usage scenarios.
The TWS1 Air has an ambient sound
monitoring mode to reduce external noise interference while still filtering in
human voice, whistle sounds, and other important sounds. The headset is equipped
with a 10mm composite diaphragm that offers a wide frequency response and
distinct layers. The full gamut of the sound frequency (low, mid, and high) is
accommodated by the Edifier TWS1 Air Bluetooth headset.
Edifier claims that the low-frequency
output of the headset is full and powerful while the mid-frequency is delicate
and soft. The high-frequency output of the TWS1 Air is claimed to be pure and
transparent. The TWS1 Air supports Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and is rated IP54
(dustproof and waterproof). The headset has app support for personalized
settings. The Edifier TWS1 Air has a battery life of 5.5 hours and up to 22
hours with the charging case and noise reduction inactive. The headset can
operate for up to 14 hours (together with its charging case) when noise
reduction is active.
The Edifier TWS1 Air Bluetooth headset is
priced at 218 yuan (US$ 30) in China. It is unclear whether the product will
subsequently berth on the international market.
