Vivo is gearing up to launch a new Y series smartphone soon. But ahead of any official announcement, a fresh leak has hinted that the Vivo Y200 announcement might be right around the corner and even revealed the price range of this device.
The Chinese smartphone maker is apparently
planning on unveiling the new Vivo Y200 smartphone later this month. Recently,
the device was spotted in leaked training materials and even the Google Play
Console listing. Now, an exclusive leak from MySmartPrice claims that the Y200
will be launching later this month. This is in line with our previous reports
since the recent sightings hinted at its imminent release.
The industry sources close to the matter
also revealed the price segment of this upcoming smartphone. Reportedly, the
Vivo Y200 will launch in India for a price under 24,000 INR (US$ 288). So we can expect the device to be a mid range handset. Rumored
specifications include an AMOLED display that has a 120hz refresh rate and a
thin 7.69mm body.
On the rear, the smartphone is expected to
feature a 64-megapixel primary camera that offers OIS (Optical Image
Stabilization) and Smart Aura LED Light. Looking at its design, the Y200 model
appears similar to the Vivo V27 Pro and V29 models. The device was recently
spotted with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, which is paired with 8GB of
RAM. It is expected to run on Android 13 OS based Funtouch OS 13 custom skin
out of the box. A 4,800mAh battery pack may powers this device, which could also
support 44W fast charging.
