Oppo A2x will arrive on October 14, revealed the company today on its Weibo profile. The smartphone was also listed in the brand's online store, revealing it will be an affordable handset with a starting price of CNY 1,099 (US$ 150). Specs are yet to be revealed, but reports suggested a Dimensity 6020 chipset. Listed memory configurations are 6/128 GB or 8/256 GB and we can also see there is one camera on the back and another one at the front on a waterdrop notch.
The online store has the Oppo A2x in
Midnight Black, but official posters clearly have two more color options –
Flying Frost Purple and Mulberry Gold. The power key is large and flat, meaning
it will double as a fingerprint scanner, which leads to the assumption the
front panel is LCD.
There are still lots of unknown specs
surrounding the Oppo A2x, but we'll have a clear picture in four days. The
device is launching in China, and we'll be on the lookout for whether it will
make it abroad, be it under the same or a different name.
