Motorola unveiled the Edge+ (2023) in May, which is now joined by the Edge (2023) that surfaced over a month ago. The Motorola Edge (2023) is powered by the Dimensity 7030 SoC and comes in a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. The smartphone boots Android 13, but there's no word on how many years of software updates it will receive.
The Motorola Edge (2023) is built around a
6.6" 144Hz pOLED display with support for 10-bit colors and HDR10+. The
panel has a touch sampling rate of 360Hz and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits.
There's also a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication and a
centered punch-hole for the 32MP selfie camera. The frame of the Motorola Edge
(2023) is made of sandblasted aluminum, while the back cover is made of soft
vegan leather. It sports flash and two cameras - 50MP primary (with OIS) and
13MP ultrawide (120° FOV). You can take macro shots with the latter using the
Macro Vision feature.
Fueling the Motorola Edge (2023) is a 4,400
mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. The rest of the
smartphone's highlights include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning, NFC,
IP68 rating, and USB-C. The Motorola Edge (2023) is offered in a single Eclipse
Black color and is priced at $599.99 in the US. But for a limited time, it's
available at a discounted price of US$ 499.99 through Motorola's official US
website.
If you live in Canada, the Motorola Edge
(2023) will cost you CAD 849.99, but it's currently available for CAD 699.99 through
Motorola's Canadian website.
