A couple of days ago we brought you news that the iQOO 12 family is launching in China on November 7, and today it seems like the company was in a teasing mood. That's because an iQOO product manager just outed a few images depicting the upcoming BMW M Motorsport edition of the iQOO 12 Pro over on Weibo.
The previously leaked design is thus the
actual design of the phone. Interestingly, there are no vertical stripes, even
if this is a BMW M edition. There's just a rather subtle engraving of the BMW M
colors to a side. The camera island is huge and has a pretty unique squircle
shape, and it advertises 100X maximum zoom as you can see.
That will come from a rumored 64 MP 70mm
f/2.57 periscope telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom, using the OmniVision
OV64B sensor. The main sensor is said to be the OmniVision OV50H and boast an
f/1.68 aperture. The third snapper is a Samsung ISOCELL JN1 15mm ultrawide,
according to the usually reliable Digital Chat Station.
Going by past rumors, the iQOO 12 Pro will
come with a "2K" resolution screen with 144 Hz refresh rate, the
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC at the helm, and a 5,100 mAh battery with support for
120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
