A few hours ago we spotted the upcoming Tecno Spark 20 in the Google Play Console, and now it's time for Tecno's sister brand Infinix to get the spotlight, since its Smart 8 has also visited the Google Play Console. The listing has revealed some of its specs, along with a very low quality image showing its front.
The Infinix Smart 8 has 3GB of RAM, runs
Android 13, and is powered by the Unisoc T606 SoC, which means two things: it
won't have 5G support, and it will be cheap. Its screen has 720x1612
resolution. Previously outed details, thanks to its FCC certification, include
a 5,000 mAh battery, with support for 10W fast charging. The Infinix Smart 8
will measure 164 x 76 x 9 mm.
At the moment it's unclear when Infinix is
planning on making the Smart 8 official, but it usually doesn't take more than
a few weeks for the launch to come once a new phone has been spotted in the
Google Play Console. The Smart 7 was released in February, for what it's worth,
and the Smart 7 HD followed in April (weirdly enough, they both have the same
screen resolution as the Smart 8 despite the name).
