According to a recent announcement, Acer has introduced its latest widescreen LED monitor. The monitor is called XZ342CU S3, which is developed using vertical alignment (VA) panel technology.
The Acer XZ342CU S3 is a 34-inch monitor
that provides a resolution of 3440 x 1440 and a 180Hz refresh rate. This
monitor is ideal for gaming thanks to its 21:9 aspect ratio and 1 ms VRB
response time. XZ342CU supports AMD FreeSync technology to prevent tearing
while gaming. It supports 1.07 Billion colors and offers 8-bit +FRC (10-bit
with dithering) color depth and a dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000,000:1. The
4,000:1 contrast ratio and 400-nit brightness will make the colors on the
monitor more vivid, and the text more legible.
In terms of connectivity, the Acer XZ342CU
is equipped with two HDMI 2.0 ports and two display ports (Display port version
1.4). The monitor has a swivel angle of -360° to 360° and a tilt angle of -5°
to 15°, giving it a more appealing look. Lastly, XZ342CU is wall-mountable and
has built-in speakers when needed.
The Acer XZ342CU S3 is currently available
on the official Acer US website with a price tag of US$ 229.99. The package comes
with 1 x XZ342CU S3 Widescreen LED monitor, 1 x power cord (US), 1 x
