On its official website, HUAWEI Philippines announced the exclusive online launch of its newest TWS earbuds called the FreeBuds SE 2. Coming from the FreeBuds SE, the FreeBuds SE 2 arrived with a longer battery life and upgraded Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity in a lighter body at a more affordable price tag.
The device arrived with a larger-looking
case and open-fit design buds with IP54 water splash and dust resistance
weighing just 3.8 grams. Inside, it uses using 10mm dynamic driver plus a
single microphone with noise cancellation. Since it is open-ear, expect a wider
soundstage here compared to buds with in-ear designs.
The buds also have touch controls for
playing music, skipping tracks, answering calls, and even speaking to the voice
assistant by tapping twice. It connects with Bluetooth 5.3 to keep sound and
image in sync which supports SBC and AAC audio codecs. According to HUAWEI,
each bud can last up to 9 hours of playback on a single charge. It also has up
to 40 hours with multiple charges using the case. The company also promised
that 10 minutes of charge could give up to 3 hours of listening time.
