The iQOO Z7 series arrived in March, and six months later, the vivo brand will bring the iQOO Z8 successors. According to a tipster on Weibo, the new lineup will be introduced in September, and for the first time will have a 512 GB storage option. The iQOO Z8x already appeared on 3C, but the listing claimed 44W charging support, raising the question if it is indeed from the upcoming series. In comparison, the iQOO Z7x supported 80W charging, which was lower than the 120W standard on the vanilla Z7.
We expect the iQOO Z8 to feature a 6.64”
LCD of Full HD+ resolution and up to 144 Hz refresh rate. The chipset should be
a Dimensity 8200, and the battery is said to be 5,000 mAh with 120W charging.
The main camera will remain at 64 MP with OIS.The x iteration of the Z8 is
generally a more affordable device. The compromise in performance should come
from the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, but the battery is generally bigger –
here, it is likely to be 6,000 mAh.
The final details are unknown, but if a
launch is really happening in the next few weeks, we expect iQOO to start
teasing the devices on their social media profiles.
